yellow warning - severe thunderstorm - in effect At 3:48 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain. This thunderstorm is located near Highway 167 in the Otish Mountains and is heading north at 20 kilometres per hour. ### Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain. Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail. If you hear roaring wind, see a funnel cloud, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, take shelter immediately. Don't drive through flooded roadways.
