Locations: Portions of southwest Saskatchewan, including Kindersley, Leader, Swift Current, and Shaunavon. Time span: Early this afternoon and this evening. Remarks: Thunderstorms are expected to develop early this afternoon over portions of southwest Saskatchewan, some of which may become severe. Strong gusty winds and large hail will be the primary threats associated with any storm that develops. However, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. ### Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
