Flood Watch issued June 22 at 4:37AM CDT until June 22 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Memphis TN * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, including the following areas, Craighead, Crittenden, Cross, Lee AR, Mississippi, Poinsett and St. Francis, North Mississippi, including the following areas, Benton MS, DeSoto, Marshall, Tate and Tunica, and West Tennessee, including the following areas, Fayette, Hardeman, Haywood, Lauderdale, Shelby and Tipton. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Training storms have set up along a cold front. Flood Warning issued June 22 at 11:32AM CDT until June 22 at 1:30PM CDT by NWS Memphis TN * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall this morning is expected. * WHERE...A portion of East Arkansas, including the following counties, Craighead, Mississippi and Poinsett. * WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1129 AM CDT, the public reported ongoing flooding in Trumann due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. While the heavy rainfall has ended, flooding concerns continue. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Jonesboro, Blytheville, Osceola, Trumann, Gosnell, Manila, Marked Tree, Harrisburg, Bono, Lake City, Leachville, Lepanto, Bay, Brookland, Monette, Caraway, Tyronza, Keiser, Weiner and Joiner. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
