Volusia-Brevard County Line to Sebastian Inlet 0-20 nm... At 745 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated scattered gusty thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots, moving east at 15 knots. Areas affected will be from Sebastian Inlet to Jupiter Inlet. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes. Frequent cloud to water lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open water stay below deck and, if possible, avoid ungrounded metal objects. Remember, lightning can strike beyond 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
