In south central Indiana, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin and Sullivan. In west central Indiana, Clay, Fountain, Montgomery, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren. * WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts possible. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. East Fork White River at Seymour. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... White River at Elliston...and Edwardsport down to Petersburg. ...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Indiana... White River at Hazleton. .Minor flooding of lowlands...following widespread heavy rainfall Wednesday and Wednesday night as great as three to five inches... will continue on the East Fork White River in Jackson County...and along the White River near Elliston and around Knox County. Respective river crests are below Seymour...and passing Elliston. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour. * WHEN...Until Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Pasture lands, agricultural lands and several county and state roads begin to flood. High water isolates a few river cabins. State Road 235 east of Medora and county roads near Shields and Vallonia flood. Roads that begin to flood include SR 258 east of Cortland, CR 725 N just north of the gaging site and Ewing Road near Brownstown. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 14.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 PM EDT Friday was 15.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage Sunday morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
