Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread heavy rainfall continues. East Fork Vermillion River near Parker affecting Turner County. Big Sioux River above Hawarden affecting Union, Sioux and Lincoln Counties. This river forecast will be heavily impacted by how much rain ultimately falls. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
