Missouri River At Rulo affecting Richardson and Holt Counties. Missouri River At Brownville affecting Atchison and Nemaha Counties. Missouri River at Plattsmouth affecting Mills and Cass Counties. Missouri River At Omaha affecting Sarpy, Douglas and Pottawattamie Counties. Low lying roads are also affected just east of Riverfront Drive north of the pedestrian bridge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 28.5 feet...or 1.5 feet above flood stage. - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the last 24 hours was 28.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 35.4 feet early Thursday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 27.0 feet. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
