In north central Kansas, Clay, Cloud, Ottawa, Republic and Washington. In northeast Kansas, Brown, Jackson, Jefferson, Marshall, Nemaha, Pottawatomie and Riley. * WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

In north central Kansas, Clay. In northeast Kansas, Pottawatomie and Riley. * WHEN...Until 945 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Wildcat creek on the west side of Manhattan has been flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 438 AM CDT, 1 to 3 inches of rainfall fell earlier this morning. The runoff from the this heavy rainfall may continue to flood roadways, creeks and low-lying areas. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Manhattan, Clay Center, Wakefield, Riley, Milford, Leonardville, Olsburg, Randolph, Green, Milford Lake, Keats and Tuttle Creek Lake. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
