Ninnescah River near Peck affecting Sedgwick and Sumner Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ninnescah River near Peck. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, The north approach of the river bridge is flooded. Flood waters begin to spread to a width of 1 mile along the north bank. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 18.1 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.0 feet this evening then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades.
