Flood Advisory issued July 12 at 6:54AM CDT until July 12 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS Louisville KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following county, Ohio. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 654 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Beaver Dam, Mchenry, Rockport, Rochester, Prentiss, Shultztown, Cromwell, Cool Springs, Rob Roy and Wysox. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
