Special Weather Statement issued June 10 at 2:12AM CDT by NWS Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN At 212 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from near Atwater to over Glencoe, or extending from 15 miles east of Willmar to 15 miles southeast of Hutchinson, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Glencoe, Litchfield, Delano, Buffalo, St. Michael, St. Cloud, Waite Park, St. Joseph, Monticello, Corcoran, Albertville, Otsego, Sartell, Big Lake, Sauk Rapids, Rogers and St. Anthony. Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.
