This will only increase the areal threat for critical fire weather. Right now, the confidence is high enough to warrant a Red Flag Warning across northwestern, north central, and portions of central New Mexico. Winds appear to be a bit more marginal in the Rio Grande valley and west central mountains, so a Fire Weather Watch remains in effect there for Wednesday. * AFFECTED AREA...Sandia and Manzano Mountains (Zone 124) and Central Highlands (Zone 125) west of Santa Rosa. * TIMING...Wednesday 9 AM through 9 PM MDT. * 20 FOOT WINDS...Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Relative Humidity between 8 to 10 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will spread rapidly.
