In Pennsylvania, Northern Erie County. * WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Wind and wave action will cause currents on the lakeshore. Swimmers should not enter the water. Currents can carry swimmers away from shore through a sand bar and along structures extending out into the lake. Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.

Heat Advisory issued June 22 at 2:55AM EDT until June 22 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH * WHAT...Peak heat index values around 100 degrees expected this afternoon. * WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and northwest Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. The prolonged nature of the heat may increase heat stress with time. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an emergency! Call 9 1 1.
