Flood Advisory issued July 13 at 7:19PM EDT until July 13 at 8:30PM EDT by NWS Charleston SC * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Berkeley County in southeastern South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 830 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 719 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Moncks Corner, Cross, Southern Lake Moultrie, Pinopolis, Moorefield, Chicora, Murraysville, Hussertown, Black Creek and Sugar Hill. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
