For the Stehekin River...including Stehekin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue. * WHERE...Stehekin River at Stehekin. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, water inundates some properties and overtops the temporary corduroy bridge. Company Creek Road inundated at northern end. Battalion Creek culverts are beginning to be overtopped. Water begins damaging Wood Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 20.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 19.5 feet. - Forecast...Stehekin River will fall below flood stage late tonight, dropping to 20.2 feet by Monday afternoon. Through the rest of the week it will periodically drop to Action Stage before rising back into Minor Flood Stage. - Flood stage is 20.5 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood This warning will be in effect until the river falls below its flood stage.
