Extreme Heat Warning issued July 2 at 11:29AM CDT until July 2 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WI * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 95 to 100. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Wisconsin. * WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Stay cool, stay hydrated, stay informed.

Movement was northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Milwaukee, Kenosha, Racine, West Allis, Sheboygan, Wauwatosa, Greenfield, Oak Creek, Mount Pleasant, Mequon, South Milwaukee, Pleasant Prairie, Cudahy, Antioch, Whitefish Bay, Greendale, Brown Deer, Grafton, Cedarburg, and Port Washington. This includes the following highways... Interstate 94 between mile markers 304 and 310. Interstate 43 between mile markers 60 and 61, and between mile markers 73 and 135. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include...
